I am not sure what to make of this. I do not understand the Israeli objective of killing non-combatants [which to the best of my knowledge is what is happening]. mrossol

The number of launches from Lebanon this morning is huge. It’s clear that the command chain in charge within Hezbollah has now absorbed the hit and started taking the initiative. Dead or alive leader Nasrallah changes nothing. A new person takes the position immediately.

It appears that Hezbollah will continue the rocket bombardments. If Netanyahu intends to make good on returning refugees to the evacuated areas in the north of Israel, he will have to send ground forces into Lebanon. That has been Hezbollah’s strategy all along—to absorb the air attacks and force a ground invasion. As so many military commentators have warned and as experience has shown, you can’t defeat a dug in enemy by air power alone, you can’t kill your way to peace. The US had its victories in Afghanistan and Iraq and Syria. It didn’t last. Bombing buildings in Beirut is one thing. That’s not where Hezbollah’s military is dug in—they’re deep under the mountains.

Israel is now a pariah nation, as we saw by the walk out at the UN. Netanyahu’s arrogant ordering of the bombing of Beirut from the UN will only heighten the outrage. America is being dragged down by its Anglo-Zionist rulers.
