I would refer her to something I recently posted: The problem with the world, and with people, and with politics and with economics, is found in the Old Testament. Humans are fallen, and as such, our falleness affects all our efforts. Humans cannot create their own “salvation”. Humans cannot re-create “The Garden of Eden”, as much as they have tried since… well, since Eden. mrossol
