🔥 Wyoming’s lost season of despair is nearly over. Harriet Hageman is now predicted to win the Republican primary over the odious Liz Cheney, bringing the younger Cheney’s career on the January 6th Committee to a definitive close later this year.

Hageman is a C&C multiplier recipient, was endorsed by Trump, and she won in spite of large numbers of democrats who switched party registrations just to vote for Cheney. That was Cheney’s great idea, by the way, she actually sent out marketing materials to registered democrats in Wyoming explaining the scheme. In other words, Cheney thought it would be a good idea to be elected by democrats — as a Republican.

That’s the kind of brilliant thinking that landed her on the J6 Committee. I honestly wonder why Cheney didn’t just switch parties and run as a democrat. Then she could have run against Hageman in the general election. You know she must have considered it.

🔥 I thought of a question about the FBI raid yesterday, and I’m hoping that someone in the C&C army can clear it up for me. The question is, if the DOJ really believed that President Trump had top secret and sensitive documents in Mar-a-Lago, would it send 30 or 40 random FBI agents to retrieve them?

What I mean is, wouldn’t the AGENTS need top-secret clearance? Would Justice really send a large gang of cops to rummage around in boxes allegedly filled with the Nation’s most secret classified information? Does that make sense?

A lot of stuff about Biden’s Raid doesn’t add up.

🔥 It’s been a busy week for the Bidens. Joe Biden got back from vacation with Hunter and the grandkids this weekend. He’d taken the week off after taking the previous three weeks off for his mild covid infection, and yesterday, after arriving from vacation number one and signing his cynically-renamed Build Back Better 2.0 bill into law, he jetted off for another week of vacation number two.

Here was Joe’s busy schedule yesterday:

I wish I could get that job. While he was in the office, Joe sure touched a lot of stuff, and people, especially for somebody coming out of covid quarantine:

Conveniently, given his weeks of covid quarantine plus his weeks of vacationing, Joe has not really had to answer ANY questions about his historic raid on Trump’s Florida residence, his deceptive new inflation bill, the anniversary of the disastrous Afghanistan pullout, war brewing in Taiwan, war raging in Ukraine, runaway inflation, or anything else, for weeks and weeks now, and it’ll be well over a month by the time he gets back.

Isn’t that nice timing?

Meanwhile, it looks like Joe blessed his wife, Jill Biden, with a covid infection. Jill Biden — also quadruple vaxxed, if you believe it — announced yesterday that she is now covid positive. Whoops. According to reports, Jill is NOT accompanying Joe on his second vacation; rather, she is quarantining in South Carolina, because of her infection. Maybe Jill just wanted some quiet time.

💉 Governor DeSantis gave a speech yesterday about hiring teachers and then right before he finished, things started getting real. A partial transcript:

“The lied to us about the mRNA shots. They said if you take it you will not get covid. That is false. That is not true. And they continue to say even now when the evidence is so overwhelming, that not only is that not true, people that have multiple boosters, you’re definitely at risk of getting it, there’s no question about that.”

“mRNA shots!” I love it.

And then he said:

“The State of Florida is the state where woke goes to die. We’re not going to let this state descend into some type of woke dumpster fire.”

🔥 We’ve learned a little more about Nancy Pelosi’s rogue trip to Taiwan last week, that caused so many people to be so impressed with her bravery and selflessness in “supporting” the people of Taiwan, only to walk it all back this week by publicly announcing she’s supporting the CCP.

Now remember, the military assets and security for that trip probably cost billions. Now add the risk of even accidentally starting World War III. It would be beyond shameful if the real reason she went was to tend to some private business, right?

Paul Pelosi, Jr., is Nancy Pelosi’s adult son. Paul is the second largest investor in a Chinese telecommunications company, Borqs Technologies. Paul earned his significant stake in the business — second only to Borqs’ CEO — through “consulting,” or by serving on the board — not by actually paying for any of the shares. Pay? Me? What nonsense.

Anyway, Paul Jr. CAME ON THE TRIP TO TAIWAN.

Which was especially weird because Paul was missing from the official passenger manifest. People had to connect the dots by noticing Paul Jr. in the background of pictures from the trip:

When asked about it, Nancy explained that since her husband couldn’t go, her 53-year-old son escorted her instead, just to keep her company. Into a war zone. On official business.

The New York Post ran a story about the trip yesterday headlined, “Nancy Pelosi’s Son, Who Tagged Along on Taiwan Trip, Is Investor in Chinese Tech Firm: Report.”

Borqs’ stock price was just under $13 a share as recently in October. Since then it has trended down to its current inglorious level of $1.37. I think I know at least part of the reason the stock is scraping the bottom of the barrel. THE COMPANY IS UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR FRAUD. I know, right? Who could’ve predicted that? Last week, some reports even say its senior financial officer was arrested by the CCP. (I can’t confirm that.)

Paul Jr. currently holds 700,000 shares of Borqs,* but he was given 1,000,000 shares for his “services.” He sold 300,000 shares at the company’s initial public offering at a starting price of $157 per share. In other words, he made $47 million dollars on the shares he never paid for, right out of the gate. Nice bonus.

(* Different reliable sources cited either 700,000 or 147,000, and Pelosi’s office says it’s only 43,000.)

Oddly, U.S. corporate media is pushing the floundering stock. Remember, it’s sitting right at a buck-thirty-seven and has been under $2 for over a month. But check out this article from last week:

So that’s the Borqs thing. But what’s it got to do with Taiwan? First, Pelosi didn’t ONLY go to Taiwan. She made several stops in Asia. Second, since the pandemic, Paul Jr. has managed to land himself some more sweet board gigs, most recently with two lithium processors, for which he also got an ownership stake in each. Guess where they’re located? Yep, Taiwan.

Lithium is the essential ingredient in electric car batteries. You know, like the kind the new Build Back Better 2.0 bill subsidizes by +$7,500 per new electric car. People aren’t dumb. News of Paul Pelosi being in Taiwan with Nancy spiked the stock in both his lithium companies:

Paul didn’t STAY in the background. Other photos showed Paul Jr. participating in meetings with South East Asian leaders.

There’s a lot more to this sordid tale, but you get the idea. Apparently people who follow Pelosi have a wild conspiracy theory that Nancy uses her son as bagman or something. That seems like a stretch, right?
