🗞💬 *WORLD NEWS AND COMMENTARY* 💬🗞

📉 Much has been said this week about Trump’s strong polling versus DeSantis — who hasn’t even announced yet — and about DeSantis’ trip to Europe and the Middle East and his inaccessibility to donors. But this morning, I’d like to look at the state of the presidential campaign — from the democrat side.

This week, Joe Biden made history by “declaring” his decision to run for a second presidential term without even making a speech. Well, JOE didn’t declare it. They just put up the website and released a video. Yesterday Fox News ran a story headlined, “With Biden As Oldest US President in Re-Election Bid, Health Experts Call for ‘Complete Transparency’.”

Haha, complete transparency. That’s a good one.

Biden, 80, will start next year’s campaign for 2024 as the oldest presidential candidate in history, handily trumping Ronald Reagan’s previous record. Reagan LEFT office at 79, amidst constant wailing by democrats about how nobody that old should be anywhere near the nuclear button. Biden will be 86 at the end of a second term, assuming all the drugs and electroshock treatments can keep him alive that long.

The Fox article meanders and doesn’t really go anywhere, it just compares Biden’s cherry-picked doctors’ literally unbelievably reassuring reports against Dr. Marc Seigel’s commonsense demand that Joe submit to neurological tests, which will never happen, so why bother? But that question does sort of lead to the real question everyone is really wondering about, but doesn’t want to ask: Is Joe even going to make it to 2024, much less 2028?

In one clip of a campaigning Biden making the rounds this week, the former vice-president said:

… and turn, turn this primary from a campaign that’s about negative attacks into one about what we’re for, but we cannot get re-elect … we can win this re-election, excuse me, we can ONLY re-elect Donald Trump.

https://twitter.com/TicTocTick/status/1652328195155279873

Haha, that was from the LAST election campaign. But it’s back this week because Biden hasn’t actually DONE any campaigning yet, which is the opposite of every other president ever after announcing a re-election campaign. And everybody knows why: he’s older than a Civil War-era dog-faced pony soldier, whatever that is.

The New York Times ran a hilariously-titled story this week headlined, “Biden’s 2024 Campaign Begins. You Might Miss It At First.”

In the three years since he stutteringly endorsed Trump by accident, Biden hasn’t improved. In fact, it looks like Biden might NOT be stumping in the early states, at all. He might just go back to the basement. I don’t think this claim needs much evidence: Biden can’t handle unscripted events anymore.

One big problem for Biden is normal democrats seem, well, let’s call it unenthusiastic. They were promised Dark Brandon and free college but what they got was Grandpa Simpson stiff-walking toward World War III and free draft papers.

A few days ago, I reported that about twenty percent (20%) of dems already prefer RFK Jr.., and RFK just came out of nowhere and started campaigning. AND HE’S A DREADED ANTI-VAXXER:

CBS aired an interview with RFK this week, but they cut the entire segment where he argued against the jabs. You probably think that’s outrageous censorship, but CBS was actually HELPING his campaign. A lot of dems would have been turned off hearing RFK run down the magic vaccines.

In the censored part of the clip, RFK made the exact same point I’ve made since March 2020 about so-called experts. He said he’d litigated over 500 lawsuits about vaccines, and in every single case, there were experts testifying on both sides. So what does that tell you about experts?

https://twitter.com/TheChiefNerd/status/1651773745336295425

Immediately after RFK announced his run, the DNC promptly determined for covid safety, I mean because Joe is so busy talking to Zelensky, or something, anyway there will be NO primary debates, and what does THAT tell you? RFK is a pretty smart guy, but with his speech impediment, RFK is no debating wizard.

What it tells you is, they don’t trust Grandpa Simpson, I mean Biden, to debate ANYBODY. Even about the jabs.

🔥 The bad polling isn’t the only bad news for Biden’s brand-new campaign. Three days ago, Bloomberg ran a story headlined, “Biden’s Donors Haven’t Cut Enough Big Checks Yet, Worrying Allies.” The sub-headline explained, “Campaign may delay plans to announce initial fundraising haul; Early donations serve as marker of enthusiasm for Biden run.”

Sadly, recent polling shows less than a quarter of Democrats “feel excited” about Biden’s 2024 campaign for re-election, and only +37% of Americans approve of Biden — down four points since March. Worse, Biden earned a staggering -59% disapproval rating. This week, an NBC anchor referred to a democrat “meh factor” and announced that “70% of all Americans, including 51% of Democrats — more than half of Democrats! — say they just don’t want to see him run again.”

Those numbers actually make things look rosier for Biden than they really are. Keep this in mind: studies have shown democrats often lie to pollsters in order to virtue signal. In other words, many democrats won’t admit, even in an anonymous survey, that they aren’t voting for the blue candidate.

Apparently the enthusiasm that generated his first 80 million votes has died down some, now that the reality of Biden qua Biden has sunk in.

By comparison, Donald Trump raised $24.8 million for his campaign and for the RNC on the first day after Trump officially launched his campaign for re-election in June 2019. This time around, Trump raised a healthy $4 million in 24 hours. DeSantis hasn’t even announced yet, and is already sitting on a financial war chest bigger than Trump’s.

But “those close to Biden are worried they won’t have a big number to announce after the president formally launched his bid Tuesday morning,” Bloomberg reported, unironically noting “fundraising totals are a proxy for enthusiasm.”

Early this week, democrat activists had hoped that Biden would race out of the gate showing healthy fundraising totals:

But, since his campaign didn’t announce ANY donation results this week, Biden looks less like a race horse and more like a scratched-at-the-post non-starter. Citing insiders, Bloomberg suggested small donations were the most anemic; Biden will have to depend on billionaires and Wall Street.

Frankly, I wonder if most democrats even knew that Biden had announced. His big “announcement,” 100% online, occurred in the wee hours on Tuesday morning while everybody was sleeping. Maybe it was supposed to be some kind of analogy, since Biden’s sleeping most of the time too:

🔥 Biden’s campaign also faces some serious developing scandals, as House Republicans continue various investigations, this week breaking the story that Biden’s 2020 campaign interfered with the Hunter Biden laptop story:

In another developing story, Biden apparently instructed the FEC to delete donations that Alvin Bragg’s Judge, Juan Merchan, made to Biden’s 2020 campaign. They deleted the records for “safety,” if you believe that.

New questions are bubbling up about Biden’s involvement with cartel child trafficking:

And a couple weeks ago, I reported on the House’s “follow the money” investigation of the Biden crime family:

There are several other investigations underway, like into Biden’s FDA’s response to the baby formula shortage, his involvement in social media censorship, his ‘classified records in the garage’ problem, and more.

🔥 Usually presidents love having a “wag the dog” style war to run on, but Biden has a war problem instead of a war asset, since the Proxy War isn’t going so great. There are signs, discussed below, that Biden is pushing Zelensky into a doomed Spring Counter-Offensive that will wrap up the war that is otherwise going nowhere.

🔥 So. What do we make of all this? Here are some things I believe are inarguable:

1) Biden’s health and speaking abilities will get worse.

2) Biden’s scandals will get worse.

3) People’s exhaustion with the Proxy War will get worse.

It is hard to imagine how these things could be turned around, or whether Biden has the energy to effect a turnaround. They’re going to have to run against Trump again, hoping the former president is so damaged with independents and frustrated Republicans that Biden can somehow carry the shortened work day.

My first prediction for today’s post: If I am right, corporate media is about to pivot from boosting DeSantis to pushing Trump.

📈 Tucker Carlson’s numbers, meanwhile, are on the rise. The Epoch Times ran a story late this week headlined, “Tucker Carlson Video Nets 60 Million Impressions in Under 24 Hours.”

At eight o’clock on Wednesday night — at the same time as his former show started — former Fox News heavyweight Tucker Carlson posted a short video clip — his first since being summarily dismissed from Fox — that basically just said, “I’m still here.” His video got about 19 million views and 60 million impressions, “highlighting Carlson’s influence and popularity.”

For comparison, “Fox News Tonight” with temporary host Brian Kilmeade only drew about 1.7 million eyeballs Tuesday night. And Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign launch video — posted to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon — had about 40 million views.

“Both political parties and their donors have reached consensus on what benefits them, and they actively collude to shut down any conversation about it,” Carlson explained in his video message. “When honest people say what’s true, calmly and without embarrassment, they become powerful. At the same time, the liars who have been trying to silence them shrink. They become weaker. That’s the iron law of the universe.”

“Where can you still find Americans saying true things?” he asked. “There aren’t many places left, but there are some, and that’s enough. As long as you can hear the words, there is hope. See you soon.”

Stay tuned to find out what Tucker has planned next.

🚀 In extremely hopeful Proxy War news, on Wednesday the UK Express reported that the leaked Minecraft Papers showed the U.S. intervened in late February to prevent a Ukrainian missile attack on the Russian capital, Moscow:

That is hopeful recent evidence that the Biden Administration is not, in fact, ready to fight a kinetic World War III. That’s bad news for Ukraine, which hoped that the U.S. was willing to fight Russia to America’s last man, and not just to Ukraine’s last man.

Up until early last week, all the buzz about the long-promised Ukrainian counter-offensive suggested Zelensky was waiting for optimal conditions:

Two days later, the Financial Times reported that Zelensky had a “long and productive” phone call with President Xi of China, who encouraged peace talks:

Yesterday, Redacted ran a piece claiming the Biden Administration is pressuring Ukraine to start the Spring Offensive right now, since the U.S. must pivot to China, and can’t fight two wars at once:

https://twitter.com/TheRedactedInc/status/1652315221606760451

The Redacted clip included most of Joe Biden’s Tuesday gala re-election announcement video. And guess what’s missing from Biden’s campaign clip: ANY MENTION OF UKRAINE. Or even Putin, for that matter.

Usually presidents LIKE to run on popular wars.

It’s a bad sign that Ukraine was left out of Biden’s triumphant video, which instead featured MAGA as the U.S.’s main problem — not Vladimir Putin. This is like when a married businessman accepts an award at a Rotary luncheon and thanks everybody except his wife. You can bet things aren’t awesome at home.

Mark my words, Biden is about to trade Ukraine in for a younger war.

Similarly yesterday, Newsweek reported that President Zelensky told Ukrainians that the Spring Counter-Offensive would NOT wait after all, but would begin even without promised U.S. F-16 fighter jets — a deadline he previously had said was absolutely 100% required for the military action to commence:

Zelensky explained, “It would help a lot… But we understand that we will not delay this, and we will start even before we have F-16s or something else.”

Huh. I wonder how Zelensky got the “understanding” that he would not delay the counter-offense. I suspect hair-sniffing was involved.

Combining this news with various leaks over the last few weeks, including the Minecraft Papers suggesting Ukraine can’t win, and Sy Hersh’s bombshell about corrupt Ukrainian generals pilfering over $400 million dollars in U.S. aid money and swanking around Kiev in luxury cars and fur coats, not to mention the developmental needs of the growing Biden presidential campaign, what you have is a perfect recipe for another Afghanistan-like bug-out.

I mean, Biden can only handle so much campaigning and weekday war planning between getting up at 10am and bedtime, I mean 4pm.

Tellingly, there wasn’t a single Proxy War story on the Wall Street Journal’s home page this morning. Same with the Washington Times. There was only one small story on the New York Times’ home page, kind of, it was about Russia prosecuting draft dodgers. That’s it.

Rats off a sinking Ukrainian gunship.

Could our long, Ukrainian national nightmare be almost over? Magic 8-Ball says, “all signs point to Yes.”
