🎾 Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic, won the U.S. Men’s Open Championship yesterday in a tense and grueling match against Russian Danill Medvedev, which at various times saw the players laying exhausted on the court. Djokovic was the oldest player at the tournament, and late last week won an exciting game against a 19-year-old rookie American with an amazing144-mph serve.

Novak “No-Vaxx” Djokovic was also the only unvaccinated player at the tournament. Even non-tennis fans have heard of him because of his jab stance.  It made international news when the Australians unceremoniously arrested and deported Djokovic in 2022. In March of this year, Governor DeSantis tried to help Djokovic get to the Miami Open using a loophole in Biden’s federal jab requirement for entry: it didn’t apply to boats.

But Djokovic didn’t want to use a loophole. It was the principle. It was his body. He didn’t want to come play unless the mandate was dropped. So he missed TWO successive championships. The record-holding player told a BBC interviewer, “The principles of decision making on my body are more important than any title or anything else.” Clip:

Biden finally dropped the mandate this year under pressure from Congress, which passed a law lifting the ridiculous requirement, which forced Biden’s withered claw into either signing or vetoing. Biden signed it at the last minute, right before nap time.

Yesterday’s win was Djokovic’s twenty-fourth Grand Slam title, making the pureblooded player easily the runaway G.O.A.T., the Greatest of All Time.

Ironically, the US Open was sponsored by single-product Moderna. Moderna also specifically sponsored Disney-owned ESPN’s “Shot of the Day” — and the Moderna-sponsored “shot” was made by none other than unjabbed Djokovic.

You couldn’t sell this script; it’s too unbelievable.

In a post-match interview, Djokovic told reporters his “heart was bursting with gratitude.” (Okay, I made that one up. But he should have said it.)

🔥 Via Libs of TikTok. This weekend a video surfaced of Konstantine Anthony, the Mayor of Burbank, California, bent over at what liberals refer to as a “campaign event.” Anthony was being publicly spanked like a bad little boy by a hulking, muscular drag queen wielding a BDSM-style leather strap. The “Drag Bingo fundraising event” was emceed by a transvestite wearing stiletto heels and giant hoop earrings, and looked quite a bit different from the kinds of campaign events conservatives are normally used to.

It’s probably better to imagine it as some kind of festival.

In the clip, Mayor Anthony seems to be enjoying the spanking a lot more than the drag queen, who honestly looked a little uncomfortable, probably realizing that he would soon be starring in a viral internet clip. The performer actually had to give Mayor Anthony a pat on his little bottom to let him know spanking time was over. The Mayor walked away grinning in a very disquieting manner strongly suggesting he was a man who’d just had some kind of personal breakthrough or self-discovery, or something like that.

By all appearances, this probably won’t be Mayor Anthony’s last paddling. He’s got a taste for it now.

I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking that first of all, anyone who does this vile sort of thing — in public! — cannot call themselves a man. But it’s a new day in America and he probably doesn’t call himself a man. So. Second, you are thinking there’s no way Anthony could win after this, it’s going to wreck his career! Wrong again. Apparently, California democrats just love this sort of indescribably-humiliating spectacle.

Don’t ask me to explain why democrats love this kind of thing, because I’m just a lawyer, not a psychiatrist. It’s something to do with that randy old fraud Sigmund Freud, probably involves over-controlling mothers and early exposure to flashers, plus rockets, trains and tunnels and that kind of stuff.

Anyway, the Mayor is campaigning for a promotion from running Burbank to running all of LA County on its Board of Supervisors, and is well on his way.

🔥 Last week, Newsweek ran a story headlined, “Supreme Court to Decide Whether to Kick Trump Off Ballot.”

The Supreme Court just accepted a case arguing that Trump should be barred from running for the White House, under section three of the 14th Amendment, which disqualifies people from public office if they have ever “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the United States. While Trump has never been charged with insurrection, the case cites Trump’s alleged role in the January 6th Capitol riot, which democrats commonly refer to as an unarmed “insurrection.”

Newsweek reported that the Supreme Court sent John Castro v. Donald Trump to the justices for the upcoming term, which starts on October 2nd. The article said the case is expected to be decided on or before October 9th.

Liberals have been excited as caffeinated puppies about the case, since a conviction for insurrection is not mentioned in the Constitution’s plain language. The case was brought by Republican tax preparer John Castro, 40, who recently filed to run for president and is asking the Court to decide whether he may challenge Trump’s inclusion on the presidential ballot.

Plaintiff John Castro is a colorful character. He has unsuccessfully run for office several times. In 2004, he ran as a democrat for the Webb County Court of Commissioners, getting less than 500 votes and coming in fifth out of five candidates. He first ran as a Republican in 2020 in the Texas Senatorial race against John Cornyn, and again badly lost the primary with less than 5% of the vote. Castro again lost running for Congress in 2021, as a Republican, with only 5.5% of the vote.

John Castro is totally not a democrat mole fake candidate. How dare you.

I don’t expect the Supreme Court to rule Trump ineligible.  A more interesting question is whether they’ll take it on the merits and provide some guidance, or whether they will just flush the case procedurally for lack of standing or ripeness or something like that. There’s an outside chance the Court would send the case back, saying Anthony must litigate and prove Trump was involved in an insurrection, which would seem difficult in Texas.

💉 SADSly, celebrities aren’t feeling very well this month.

On Wednesday, Bruce “the Boss” Springsteen, 74, announced on his website that he was postponing all shows for the rest of the month while being treated for a “peptic ulcer disease.”

Last week, 80’s metal band Guns N’Roses cancelled its Friday concert — with one day’s notice — citing an unspecified “illness.” Unconfirmed rumors suggest the band’s lead singer Axl Rose, 61, is out sick with flu-like symptoms. Last week he apologized to fans during a show for being “a little hoarse.”

Super-duper-jabbed Whoopi Goldberg is out on sick leave from The View, suffering from her third covid infection. Boy, those jabs work great.

This week, supermodel Lina Evangelista revealed her turbo-breast cancer diagnosis from last year.

Linda first ran into a positive test for breast cancer in December 2018. The supermodel immediately opted for a bilateral mastectomy and said she thought she was good and set for life. But in July of last year, the cancer suddenly and unexpectedly returned in her chest muscle. Treatments are progressing well and Linda said doctors gave her a good prognosis for recovery.

Last week, opera tenor Stephen Gould was diagnosed with incurable bile-duct cancer. As they say in the business, the fat lady has sung. Gould won’t be around much longer.

“Cholangio-Carcinoma” is a rare type of cancer affecting the bile ducts, which are tubes that carry bile from the liver and gallbladder to the small intestine. Specifically, “Cholangio-Carcinoma” refers to a malignancy that arises in the epithelial cells lining the bile ducts.

Newsbreak ran a story last week referencing reality star Kimmi Scott, 34, in an article about a new study blaming young cancer victims for the new youthful epidemic in turbo cancers.

The researchers blamed everything but the you-know what’s, fingering fatness, aggressive cancer screenings, laziness, westernized junk food diets, and pollution.

Come on, young people. Get it together!

🔥 Game over, Portlanders! Late last week, the Oregonian ran a story headlined, “Nike to permanently close NE Portland factory store, business district says.” Nike is shutting down its 40-year-old flagship store and scampering out of downtown Portland on its fastest sneakers.

Nike cited crime and safety concerns. The Oregonian described the now-closed Nike Community Store as “a staple in its Portland neighborhood, once the core of the city’s black population, since it opened in June 1984.” The woke store not only hired local workers from the neighborhood, but it also invested all the store’s profits into Portland’s black community.

In other words, Nike wasn’t even running the store to make money. It was just a virtue-signaling operation. And it still couldn’t make it.

The article mentioned that increasingly-desperate Nike recently offered to partially fund Portland’s police department in exchange for getting an off-duty police officer to help watch the store. But Portland is in the business of defunding police departments, not funding them. Portland rejected Nike’s offer like it was a box of unwanted last-season sneaker models.

According to an Oregon Live analysis of IRS data, Multnomah County, where Portland is located, last year hemorrhaged 14,257 taxpayers, creating a historic loss of $1 billion in tax revenues. Fox 12 News ranked Portland as one of America’s “fastest shrinking cities.”

For the life of me, I can’t understand why.

🔥 Yesterday, the Virginia Governor’s office published a press release headlined, “Governor Glenn Youngkin Grants Pardon to Loudoun County Dad Whose Daughter was Sexually Assaulted in Public School.”

Scott Smith is the Loudoun County dad who was wrongfully prosecuted and convicted for standing up for his daughter at a 2021 Loudoun County School Board meeting, after she was raped by a “gender-fluid student” in the school’s girl’s bathroom. I won’t list what her attacker was eventually charged with, it’s too graphic. But it was bad.

The school board covered up the assault, transferred the rapist to another school, where he assaulted another girl, and added insult to injury by having Scott promptly arrested when he showed up at a School Board meeting to complain.

The blowback from the incident led to a red wave in blue Virginia, Republican Governor Younkin’s election, and the removal of most of the School Board’s criminal members. They haven’t been charged with anything. Yet. On the other hand, Scott Smith has now been pardoned. So.
