WORLD NEWS AND COMMENTARY

🔥 An October surprise! Politico ran a freaky pre-Halloween story yesterday that you probably never heard about, headlined “Joe Biden’s Big New Hampshire Blunder.

image 4.png

Like the famous Tennyson poem explained, somebody, somewhere had blundered.

The short version is, Biden — apparently personally — ordered Iowa and New Hampshire to stand down as the historic first two states holding democrat primaries, to make South Carolina first. The backstory is in 2020 Biden did poorly in Iowa and New Hampshire but South Carolina put him over the top. So it was supposed to be a little political reward, like a candy treat dropped into South Carolina’s bag.

The “trick” was, the DNC said it would strip Iowa and New Hampshire of delegates if they didn’t go along. But Biden’s plan backfired. I bet you never saw that plot twist coming.

In a cowardly fashion, Iowa backed down. But the Granite State remained immovable. Live Free or Die!  New Hampshire is steaming ahead with its early primary anyway, delegates or no, and leaving Joe Biden off the ballot.

Ruh-roh.

It got even worse. Alert democrat from Minnesota, Representative Dean Phillips (D-Minn.), saw some kind of an opportunity and grabbed hold of it with both hands. He paid his $1,000 filing fee in New Hampshire, and is now running for the democrat nomination for President on New Hampshire’s ballot. He’s campaigning, too. Phillips has already held several town halls and intends to blanket the state.

Biden is mostly running another basement campaign.

Not one to leave a political weapon laying right in front of him, Phillips is campaigning on a razor-sharp political issue: returning New Hampshire to its place at the start of the democrat primary lineup. Needless to say, that’s an effective appeal to stoney Granite Staters.

According to Politico, at this point Biden — who’s not even running in New Hampshire — cannot afford to lose. “If he ignores New Hampshire or half-asses it, he loses,” said Steve Duprey, former chair of the N.H. GOP. Steve said at this point Biden has “got to win now.”

Politico says Democrat “insiders” are scrambling to organize a high-stakes write-in campaign. Good luck with that.

It’s fair to say the Biden campaign is off to a rocky start. Granite rocks.

🔥 Meanwhile,  yesterday liberal mouthpiece Axios ran a story in a similar spooky vein, just in time for Halloween, headlined “Behind the Curtain: Biden’s Re-election Horror Shows.

image 3.png

Not just a blunder! A horror show.

It’s an awful read and I won’t put you through it. But overall, the piece painstakingly enumerated all the many ways Biden is deeply unpopular, even with democrats. In the end, Axios was too chicken to criticize Joe and basically claimed President Peters is doing a heroic, effective job, but just not getting the credit he deserves. Bottom line, Axios conceded, “It’s not death by one issue, but by half a dozen hitting at once.”

I won’t bother rebutting all Axios’ nonsense about Biden’s programs “working.” Unless getting us into a unwinnable kinetic war with Russia and China is considered “working,” then I guess it’s working great.

I don’t need to rebut them. The number speak for themselves. Last week, a Gallup poll showed Biden’s job approval ratings further slipping from their already-historic lows:

image 2.png

I’m just spitballing here, but maybe Biden’s bad polling could have somethingto do with two major wars that are jamming us ever closer to the brink of World War III, letting terrorists flood the southern border, and causing our debt to increase faster than our gross domestic product? But what do I know?

Trump is the key and the stumbling block. Check out this nugget of political calculus that Axios said came from “top analysts” of both parties:

Trump is the only viable Republican that Biden can defeat. And Biden and Vice President Harris are the only Democrats that Trump could defeat.

That right there is how democrats see the election landscape. It explains why corporate media has been boosting Trump over the other Republicans. But it’s a gamble. Biden’s gamble on Trump is either cunningly strategic or it’s the dumbest move they ever made, similar to how democrats crossed lines to vote for Trump in many states’ Republican primaries in 2016.

That one didn’t work out too well. We will see what happens this time. So far it’s off to a bad start.

📈 Biden is more or less writing Trump’s pitch to voters. It will be simple and compelling. It’s a literal existential issue: vote for Trump to avoid World War Three. Trump will argue, correctly, that no new wars occurred during his presidency, and that Biden is practically sprinting toward global thermonuclear war.

I usually avoid citing from campaign speeches, but I’m including this clip, because in combination with rapidly-developing world events, I think we are now witnessing the assembling outlines of the real 2024 campaign and what will probably be the only significant issue: peace and security.

image 5.png

CLIP: Trump pitches peace and security and stopping WWIII (3:22).

All viable candidates must have a good answer to the WW3 question. Trump’s pitch will be his record. Biden has no peace pitch. What about the rest? This could soon be the only issue anybody cares about.

💉 New York University Professor Scott Galloway appeared on Bill Maher’s show last week. For some reason, disgraced ex-governor Andrew Cuomo was there too. To remind you, Professor Galloway erroneously led the pro-jab charge in New York during the pandemic, which caused a lot of problems, especially for kids. Now, Professor Galloway demands grace and forgiveness — because he did his best under difficult circumstances.

image 6.png

CLIP: Jab expert seeks grace on Bill Maher’s show (0:41).

To give you an idea, here is Professor Galloway popping up in August 2021, leveraging his “expertise” and calling for jab mandates:

image 7.png

But now he wants grace, because they all did their best. On Maher’s show, Professor Galloway admitted:

“I was on the board of my kids’ school during COVID. I wanted a harsher lockdown policy. In retrospect: I was wrong. The damage to kids of keeping them out of school longer was greater than the risk. But here’s the bottom line: Myself, our great people at CDC, and I’d like to think the Governor, we were all operating with imperfect information, we were doing our best. But let’s have a little grace and forgiveness for the sh-t show that was COVID.”

Imperfect information? Professor Galloway wasn’t saying the information was imperfect during the pandemic. He was talking about locking up dirty unvaccinated people, and making sure they couldn’t earn a living:

image 8.png

In case you are tempted to feel any sympathy toward Professor Galloway’s earnest plea for understanding, consider first that in the very same show, the professor didn’t give newly-elected House Speaker Mike Johnson any grace. In fact, the nutty professor called Johnson “David Duke light” because Johnson had said he had a Christian world view. Galloway’s below-the-racist-belt jab was too much even for Bill Maher, who chided, “I read today (Johnson) has an adopted black son. I don’t think David Duke would do that.” But then Maher joined the pig pile, calling Johnson “nevertheless, he’s a religious nut.”

Unconfirmed, Galloway is said to be worth $100M. Meaning, he doesn’t have to work if he doesn’t want to. He could take a couple years off anytime he wants, easily living off the interest from his investments. He’s definitely“laptop class.”

So what do you think? Does Professor Galloway deserve “a little grace and forgiveness?” Or is he an elitist, arrogant jacka** that should get fired and cancelled like all the innocent unvaccinated people who lost their jobs in New York while Galloway was cheering on the officious thugs from public health?

💉 Over the weekend, I covered a related story, featuring another annoying, liberal, pro-mandate millionaire: the unkempt, nutty professor Peter Hotez. Hotez recently won the Anthony Fauci Award for Courage, and no, that is not a joke. On Saturday, Hotez lit a fuse on social media by tweeting about how so many of his colleagues were dying suddenly and mysteriously lately, arrogantly wondering if the deaths were caused by “overwork,” or “exhaustion.” You know, from working so tirelessly and selflessly for the ungrateful masses during the pandemic.

Because work! Work can kill you. Suddenly and unexpectedly:

image.png

Well, even though he smartly limited comments to his twitter friends, somebody must have alerted Peter to all the attention his ill-considered tweet was getting, because Hotez deleted the tweet sometime yesterday. It’s off of twitter now. But don’t worry! I’ll keep running it.

Legally, evidence of an intent to conceal something is admissible as evidence of consciousness of guilt.

But set that fruitful vein aside for the moment.  Combine Hotez’s earnest but 100% tone-deaf tweet fiasco with Professor Galloway’s request for “grace and forgiveness.” What they have in common is a race toward the bottom. Galloway is right, the pandemic was a total s-show, and it was Galloway and Hotez’s fault. It’s becoming undeniable.

🚀 My current working hypothesis is that, efforting to prepare the 2024 political ground, the Biden Administration plans to ditch the Ukrainians in favor of a new-and-improved Middle East war that looks to the Biden team a lot more winnable before the election than would be a wintery slog against the Russians.

Along those lines, the liberal Hill ran a wildly rabid pro-war National Security op-ed yesterday headlined, “Israel is beginning to cross the Rubicon in the Gaza Strip.” It should have read, “The Hill Crosses the Rubicon in its Pea-Sized Brain.”

The article began promisingly enough, with a bold declaration about the Biden Administration’s abject failure, a sentiment that any of us could agree with:

Biden’s entire Mideast foreign policy is now in a complete shamble.

A truer word was never spoken, although I might quibble with whether Biden even had a foreign policy in the first place to go into a shamble. If he did have one, he hasn’t explained it to anybody yet. But let us not pick the threads apart.

Anyway, after that promising start, the article’s logic began flying off the rails faster than a pack of monkeys riding a merry-go-round. The Hill’s national security editors urged the U.S. to go to war with Iran, right now, or at least teach those crazy mullahs a lesson they won’t soon forget:

It is essential that (Joe Biden) and his administration now accept that Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are America’s strategic fight in the Middle East. The Biden administration’s continued unwillingness to directly confront Iran – the mullahs and the IRGC – keeps sending the wrong message.
We are already at the point of no return.
Biden needs to make it clear to Iran that any future attacks on American forces – the Pentagon estimates that at least 20 attacks have taken place over the last two weeks – will be met with devastating consequences, and that the U.S. will consider any attack by Iranian supported proxies as an attack by Iran itself.

“Devastating consequences?” What on Earth is the Hill thinking about? On the one hand, the liberal magazine is calling for peace talks and a ceasefire in Gaza. On the other hand, it runs op-eds basically daring Biden to instruct Iran on some “devastating consequences?”

Never forget: liberals are NOT peaceniks. They LOVE wars. They only embrace peace when it’s a politically convenient tool.

This weekend, military commenter Scott Ritter suggested Biden’s $106 billionwar funding request, with the majority of funds — $61 billion — earmarked for Ukraine, was intended to deliberately provoke Congress. Pigs get fed, but hogs get slaughtered. In other words, the ask was SO big and SO outrageous and SO unaffordable that Congress was certain to deny it, and Biden could then ease into the blame game like an old man sliding into a warm bath.

Don’t blame me, Biden will say. I requested money for Ukraine but the stingy Republicans denied it. Blame them!

image 9.png

Ukraine is probably about to learn a disconcerting lesson. A lesson the Iraqis and Afghanis have also recently learned.

🔥 Whatever else you think about him, on a recent podcast interview, General Flynn accused some unnamed members of Congress, the House and the Senate, of going on “Code ‘L’” trips and becoming compromised by globalists, who blackmail the lawmakers because they had sex with children.

image 11.png

CLIP: General Flynn drops truth bomb on podcast hostess (0:40).

Call him crazy, but it’s not clear that anybody is even trying to argue Flynn’s point. It seems more like they’d rather not talk about the problem at all. The connections run through both parties and are easy to find:

image 12.png

The real question is, what do we DO about it?

🔥 Finally, after LibsOfTikTok’s author, Chaya Raichik, had her lawyers send the Anti-Defamation League a spicily-worded demand letter, the ADL capitulated and removed Chaya from their awful “glossary of extremists.”

image 10.png

The so-called Anti-Defamation League has yet to call out any of the pro-Hamas protests or disgraceful politicians and insurrectionists, like Rashida Tlaib (D-Mi.). But Libs of TikTok sure got them going.

All Chaya ever did was republish crazy leftwing TikTok videos onto platforms that conservatives use, occasionally adding a snarky comment. But just that has been too much for the liberal machine, which has relentlessly tried to doxx and destroy the young conservative.

Now Chaya’s pushing back a little. Progress!
