WORLD NEWS AND COMMENTARY

🔥 Scientific American published an appalling chunk of fake news yesterday headlined, “Vaccination Dramatically Lowers Long Covid Risk.”  The sub-headline added, “Several new studies reveal that getting multiple COVID vaccine doses provides strong protection against lingering symptoms.” Wait till you see the one sentence that gave the whole sordid game away.

The article began by referring to a “growing consensus” — there it is again — without any specifics. But the article appeared loosely based on a recent meta-study rounding up 24 other studies that all claim mRNA shot safety and efficacy against long covid. Scientific American concluded that there’s no upper limit to how many boosters people should get:

Although the studies disagree on the exact amount of protection, they show a clear trend: the more shots in your arm before your first bout with COVID, the less likely you are to get long COVID. “The more doses you had in your body before your first infection, the better.”

The first give-away that this piece is a hoax was the admission that the studies “disagree on the exact amount of protection.” In other words, they don’t claim the vaccines stop people from getting long covid like polio vaccines stop people from getting polio. No, these vaccines only lower your chances. But how much? Who knows? Who cares!

It could have been worse if they weren’t vaccinated.

Exposing its own bias and the article’s inherent contradiction, Scientific American gushed about the new meta-study, even while glossing over the fact the current claims conflicted with earlier conclusions:

It is also a welcome departure from earlier studies, which suggested that vaccines provided only a modest defense against long COVID.

So it’s settled then! The article was a fine bit of propaganda; after all, it takes a lot of work to tease out each of the 24 “studies” and figure out what’s wrong with each of them. Nobody would have the time or patience to read all that, either. But we can start with the bit of sleight of hand that underlies all 24 studies: there is no test to confirm “long covid.”

There’s no home test, no office test, no blood test, and no mail-away test. There’s no swab, no prick, nothing to spit into. All the “long covid” studies rely on patient self-diagnosis.

If someone says they have long covid, that’s all it takes. Which makes the studies more like surveys than science. But why pick nits?

Surveys are different and raise questions about psychology as well as physiology. For instance, how many jabbed people don’t diagnose themselves with “long covid” due to the placebo effect? After all, they got the magic jabs. A saline placebo can prevent up to 40% of verifiable illness in ordinary trials. How much better could the placebo effect prevent self-diagnosed illness? And on the other hand, how many doctors warned their unvaccinated patients they would get “long covid” if they didn’t get the shot, and later the patients attributed their aches and pains to the same mysterious syndrome their doctors assured them they would get?

These questions will never be answered. Still, there was one giveaway sentence, a grudging admission dressed up as a benefit, that exposed the entire fraud. When you read this next sentence, remember what they say whenever we point out someone died right after getting their shots: “correlation does not equal causation, dummies!”

Got that? Just because two things happen together doesn’t mean one of them caused the other. Both things could be caused by a third unknown factor.

Scientific American — a magazine devoted to science — made this mind-blowing admission that is perhaps best described as one hundred-percent pure quackery:

Although it will take time to pinpoint the exact reason behind vaccines’ protective effect against long COVID, many medical experts are hopeful that the new studies will help counter the spread of misinformation and disinformation about the COVID immunizations that has contributed to vaccine hesitancy.

Wait, what? They don’t know — not “the exact reason” — WHY the vaccines protect against self-diagnosed long covid. So … how do they think it happens? Apparently it was just a wonderful lab accident, like when that guy accidentally created Sticky Notes, or when Viagra surprised everyone by cheerfully stiffening Little Willie (on top of treating Big Willie’s angina). Except, unlike Sticky Notes and Viagra, scientists can posit no idea how the mRNA jabs supposedly protect people from long covid. Scientific American was literally invoking a magical fairy-tale protective effect. And that is not science.

It’s just a happy mystery! Like a bonus. Nobody knows how it works. It’s great! Those goofy scientists have done it again!

To be clear, I’ve heard enough anecdotal reports to believe some folks have lingering or persistent symptoms, regardless of vaccination status. Who knows whether those symptoms come from permanent spike injury, a chimeric bioweapon effect, “reservoirs,” or something else?  For decades, science ignored and gaslit people with Lyme disease, and it’s still ignoring and gaslighting people with vaccine injuries (from any vaccine). But Science loves long covid, and the long covid folks are getting thoroughly studied as if some giant company were paying doctors vast fortunes to study the syndrome.

But all that attention doesn’t seem to be helping long covid people at all. It’s certainly not helping develop any treatments for long covid. Or to create some kind of a test. All that attention just seems to be helping pharma and its captured media mouthpieces — like “Scientific” American — to push their lucrative quack medicines.

🪳 The New York Post ran a story yesterday headlined, Fauci’s returning to Congress — will he continue his COVID coverup? What a dumb headline. Of course Fauci will continue his covid coverup. What else do they expect? A change of heart? Remorse? A deathbed conversion?

The news was that early next week, Fauci is scheduled to testify at a Congressional subcommittee for two days of closed depositions, on topics like: his role in funding the Wuhan Institute of Virology, his efforts to debunk the “lab leak” theory, mask and jab mandates, and federal censorship.

Fauci will later testify at a public hearing, for the cameras.

I won’t bore you with the current slate of hot takes and speculation. If anything interesting happens, I will let you know. I’m not expecting anything interesting, since the good doctor appears to be suffering from creeping dementia. In late 2022, in the Missouri v. Biden case on federal censorship, Fauci claimed “I don’t recall” a hundred and seventy-four times — including about many momentous and otherwise unforgettable emails that he sent.

Maybe he suffered from a blow to the head? One can hope.

Other than that, the Post’s article was terrific, rounding up a bunch of facts and talking points proving how corrupt and sold-out was our highest-paid human cockroach.

💉 You dummies are always saying Pfizer never conducted animal trials, but they did do the animal trials. They did it on animals at the zoos! From National Geographic, August 2021:

What a terrific idea! They combined the awesome jabs with fun, popular zoos where lovable creatures reside. I love the zoo! Now, please, don’t all you crazy anti-vaxxers get all wound up and go misinforming people. You can’t extrapolate anything from a sample size of one. Take for example how wound up everyone got about the Dallas Zoo, which was just in the process of vaccinating its animals when two giraffes — neither yet jabbed — both died suddenly, both mysteriously, both from liver failure:

And then all the anti-vaxxers cooked up wild theories that the dead giraffes had been already jabbed and the zoo just lied about it. So we said, time will tell. And just look! Look how well the Dallas Zoo critters are doing n… oh, wait. Uh-oh (January 1, 2024):

Weird, another sudden giraffe death. So alright. Maybe now you kooky anti-vaxxers have two examples, but do you really think two jabbed animal sudden deaths really amount to anything? Please. It’s rare, sure, but it couldhappen. You’re going to have to do much better than that. Let’s pick another zoo, um, how about Utah? Utah’s Hogle Zoo jabbed and boosted its critters (May, 2022):

So if you tinfoil-hat-wearing people are right, then we should be seeing problems at lots of other zoos, like the Hogle Zoo. Dummies, listen. The animals at Hogle are perfectly fi… Stop, hang on. Whoops (December 2nd):

Huh. It turns out the cause of cute little Priya Panda’s sudden death is unknown, despite her autopsy (‘necropsy’). She was feeling poorly, so they took Priya to the vet station, and one thing led to another and she wound up in the veterinary ICU for three days under 24-hour “unprecedented levels of critical care.”

All that unprecedented critical care didn’t work, for some reason, and now Priya is an ex-panda and her tropically-appointed environment is available for rent.

Okay. Fine. I’ll give you that three sudden animal deaths in jabbed critters in one month seems like a lot, but work with me. These kinds of statistical anomalies hap… Wait a minute. I’m getting something about the Oklahoma Zoo. The Okies jabbed their beasts back in 2021:

And I’m sorry to tell you this, it’s quite tragic and I know just what you’re going to say, but for full disclosure they did have a recent sudden death there at the Oklahoma Zoo. Specifically, Kiran the Red Panda, 5 months old, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Christmas:

This is truly horrible. All these dead animals. It is a tragedy of monumental proportions. Can you imagine how tragically it could affect vaccine hesitancy? We have to stop the bleeding. (Or clotting.) What about, um, what about Omaha? What’s going on there, over at the Henry Doorly Zoo, where they jabbed the residents, and boosted their “most valuable” critters in July of 2022:

Please tell me that the high-value animals at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo are running around like normal and aren’t dying sudd… oh for heaven’s sake. November 29th:

Okay, I get it. But. Come on. The jabs are proven to be totally safe and effective. Right? The safest vaccines in history. So let’s check another one. What about here in Florida? Miami Zoo jabbed its critters back in 2021:

What’s going on down there in South Florida? Are the animals all okay? … Oh, no. Turbo spleen cancer, November 3rd:

This zoo story needs a Frances Collins-style quick, devastating takedown. We must contain the damage. No, stupid, not the damage to the animals. The damage to the vaccines. Are there any other ones? Elderly chimps or anything? Can we just write it all off as old age? … Wait, what? Cincinnati, too? Not old? November 20th:

Amali the Bonobo, 3, died suddenly from an RSV infection. At least the other chimps were given the chance to say goodbye. So that’s something.

This is getting out of hand. Please tell me there aren’t any more. Oh. Of course there are. That’s the kind of day we’re having, apparently. St. Louis, November 9th:

Donna the Elephant’s rapid health decline was caused by her turbo thyroid cancer that started a few weeks before in October. Donna was the secondelephant at the St. Louis Zoo to die suddenly recently. Rani the Elephant also died suddenly the same month that Donna got her turbo cancer diagnosis:

Rani had a heart attack caused by a loose dog. You have to watch out for those. The care team saw Rani collapse and gave her immediate emergency care — but it didn’t take. Rani’s necropsy showed a “pre-existing” undiagnosed cardiac condition. Allegedly.

We need to let people know that nobody forced the animals to take the shots. They were given a choice. They could have gone back to Africa or the inner city or worked at the circus, anywhere. They just weren’t allowed to stay at the zoo if they didn’t get jabbed, that’s all. It was completely free-willed and not coercive at all.

So let’s focus on that. It was the animals’ fault. And please try not to let them think too hard about what this zoo story suggests for the humans.

🔥 Novelist David Grossman once said, “Words can lie, but a picture cannot: that’s why a single image can be so powerful.”  Marxist documentarian Michael Moore put it this way: “Video has the power to bypass the intellect and go straight to the heart.” Producer David Selznick explained, “A picture is worth a thousand words, but a moving picture is worth a million.”

So you’ll probably want to watch James O’Keefe’s latest exposé video, even though it will make you mad. On Wednesday, O’Keefe uploaded a compilation of clips of what is obviously an extremely shady migrant processing center located in an out-of-the-way spot in Phoenix. O’Keefe connected the dots to an NGO with a billion-dollar budget — including $415 million from US taxpayers — that appears to be collecting illegal migrants and then flying them all over the country in chartered jet planes.

To me, the workers at the Phoenix “International Rescue Committee” facility look less like employees of a billion dollar international charity (that you never heard of) and more like mafia thugs. Elon Musk understandably saw the clip and seemed to be uncharacteristically at a loss for words:
