THE C&C ARMY POST

🪖💉 From my circle this week:

— A local lawyer’s office called for help with a case. Eight weeks ago, he got up from the couch, went into the kitchen, told his girlfriend he didn’t feel too good, then suddenly and unexpectedly collapsed, falling backwards completely limp, and struck his head on the ceramic tile floor. He’s been in the ICU since, but recently started doing a little better. They don’t know why he collapsed.

— A friend was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

— A friend was diagnosed with liver failure.

— A friend was diagnosed with “sudden acute hearing loss” in one ear. No cause.

— A friend lost their preteen child. No details.

I follow Dr. Makis, a courageous Canadian doctor who’s been covering sudden deaths. This week he remarked it seems like the pace is picking up. Given this week’s experience, I’d have to agree; it does seem that way. Hopefully it’s just a blip.

On to the roundup!

WORLD NEWS AND COMMENTARY

🚀 Corporate media’s big news this morning appeared under the Washington Post’s headline, “U.S. close to deal with Israel and Hamas to pause conflict, free some hostages.

image 7.png

Citing anonymous leakers — meaning the story is a narrative delivery system— the Washington Post reported that Israel and Hamas are “close to an agreement” to release at least 50 women and children being held hostage by terrorists in Gaza, in trade for a five-day cease-fire. Joe Biden announced he has been “deeply involved” in the “ongoing negotiations,” so you can imagine how that is going.

HAMAS: We demand the Zionists stop this unprovoked war of aggression upon the innocent, peace-loving people of Gaza!

ISRAEL: There can be no negotiation with terrorists while they are committing barbaric war crimes against noncombatant hostages.

BIDEN: Guys, let me be clear. This reminds me of, uh, of a time when … there was this drug dealer I used to hang around with, tough guy, would stick you as soon as look you in the eye. Knives can be sharp, so you have to, uh. Then, uh, I’m not, where is my? Okay. Never mind, it’ll take too long.

Et cetera. You get the idea. But in spite of all the U.S. headlines lauding Biden’s keen negotiating insights and his excellent leadership in the cease-fire negotiations, the Israeli papers all say it isn’t happening. For example, from the Times of Israel this morning:

image 8.png

In a subsequent edit to the WaPo story, they basically conceded the story was propaganda:

After this article was initially published, National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson tweeted that there was “no deal yet but we continue to work hard to get a deal.”

Because what you need most during delicate wartime negotiations is a descriptive play-by-play of the discussions in the media. Uh huh.

🔥 Next, I’m sure you will be — as I was — extremely gratified to discover that, after decades of indescribably humiliating discrimination, men were finally — finally! — given their fair chance to compete in this year’s Miss Universe Pageant, which featured TWO beautiful male contestants — who both had a legitimate chance of winning this year, despite being born with a, um, little handicap.

Although Miss Nicaragua ultimately took the crown yesterday, here are our two courageous, pioneering male entrants:

image 9.png

Don’t be jealous, ladies! I thought this comment summed it up well:

image 11.png

President Trump used to own the pageant, but he sold it back in 2015. Most recently in 2020, billionaire oligarch, Thai tycoon, and transgender activist “Anne” Jakrajutatip, or however you say it, bought the famous beauty pageant for $20 million. In another historic, glass-ceiling-shattering first this year, “beauty” contestant Jane Dipika Garrett of Nepal became the first-ever “plus-size” contender to compete in the pageant.

I was sorely tempted, believe me, but finally, grudgingly, decided to spare you from Ms. Garrett’s picture. You’re welcome.

In unrelated news, Jakrajutatip’s company, JKN Global Group, which now owns the pageant, filed for bankruptcy reorganization in Thailand earlier this month. So.

🔥 It’s war! The execrable insects over at Media Matters, the leftist, Soros-funded liberal cancellation squad masquerading as a “fact checking” outfit, went after Elon Musk and Twitter this week, punching the social media platform below the belt, right in the pocketbook.

Here’s the Media Matters headline that started the putrid ball rolling:

image 2.png

The article purported to show anti-semitic posts on Twitter right next to ads for various big corporations, with Media Matters darkly suggesting it was on purpose. The hint, if I understand them right, is that Elon Musk is actually a Hitler-loving crypto-Nazi and nobody should do business with him.

Then several big, virtue-signaling corporations who are happy to support trans issues and whatnot noisily dumped their ad contracts. For example, behold this headline from The Hill yesterday:

image 12.png

Later in the day, Elon Musk posted a report describing what really happened. I know you’ll find this hard to believe, but Media Matters faked the story. It created a sneaky, anonymous, antisemitic account, and then used computerized automation to refresh its feed over and over, millions of times, until it finally caught certain ads appearing next to its own stomach-turning content.

Musk and Twitter did was Musk promised advertisers he would do: limit the reach of the bad content. It took extraordinary effort for Media Matters to game the system to make it look like the Twitter algorithm was working the opposite way from how it actually works.

The reality is Media Matter’s disgusting tweets were never actually seen together with the ads by anyone human.

And then late yesterday, Elon dropped the bomb. He’s not going to take it lying down, or any other way, for that matter. He has promised to sue Media Matters. And promptly, on Monday morning, in what the billionaire assured his followers would be a “thermonuclear lawsuit:”

image.png

Even better, Elon promised to shine a light on all the cockroaches scurrying around behind Media Matters’ cabinets and pulling its Marxist strings:

image 3.png

Many commenters have suggested that Twitter has a good old common-law claim for tortious interference. Under long-standing tort law, competition is fine, perfectly legal, but targeting someone’s business for malicious reasons is not. For example, Facebook could legally try to torpedo Twitter so long as (1) it didn’t lie, and (2) the goal was for its own financial advantage.

On the other hand, Media Matters gets no financial advantage from torpedoing Twitter. If Musk can show Media Matters attacked Twitter for political reasons instead of for legit financial reasons, thereby showing “maliciousness,” then Media Matters could be liable for millions of dollars of damages.

If I were drafting the thermonuclear complaint, in addition to the tortious interference, I would consider adding counts for defamation (libel and slander). There is a sub-type called “false light defamation,” which applies whenever a defendant publishes that might technically be true, but somehow mischaracterizes the true information to make the plaintiff unfairly look bad. In other words, “painting them in a false light.”

There are a lot of hot takes out there, but I think Elon has a good case. And this is right in my wheelhouse.

🔥 I’m sure this is totally unrelated, but a 2019 Daily Caller article was making the rounds again on social media yesterday. The old article was headlined “Media Matters President Wrote Blog Posts About ‘Japs,’ ‘Jewry’ And ‘Trannies’.

image 13.png

Media Matters President Angelo Carusone

In 2019, Media Matters mounted a cancellation and boycott campaign against the Daily Caller and against Tucker Carlson, who co-founded the conservative news website. Media Matters accused the Daily Caller of saying stuff that was unforgivably racist or homophobic or transphobic or antisemitic, or something.

So the Daily Caller did some digging of its own, and found that — guess what — when he was in college, Media  Matters’s President Angelo Carusone had said stuff that was unforgivably racist, homophobic, transphobic, and antisemitic. That is, what he said was unforgivable if you apply the same rules to Carusone that he was applying to the Daily Caller.

Checkmate.

Anyway, Carusone has spent the intervening years apologizing for and “adding context” to all the stupid stuff he posted on his blog in 2005. Here’s one example, from Anthony’s 2005 blog post about a gang of Bangledeshi transvestites who were allegedly robbing tourists:

image 14.png

You’re not ever supposed to say “transvestite” if you are an informed liberal — even in the past. It seems only fair to hold Anthony to the same standards he applies to everyone else.

Cancel him.

🔥 The New York Post ran an explosive story yesterday headlined, “Ex-Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams’ brother-in-law accused of trying to pay teen girl for sex in hotel room before choking her.

image 15.png

Jimmie Gardner, 57, pictured above in his mugshot, was arrested this week in Tampa for soliciting a minor for sex in his Renaissance Hotel room, and then physically assaulting her after she changed her mind and declined to have sex with him for money. So Jimmie probably faces attempted rape, solicitation to prostitution, and maybe some human trafficking charges.

Jimmie is not just your ordinary, run-of-the-mill violent pedophile. On his Instagram page, Jimmie cheerfully described himself as a “27-year wrongful conviction survivor; social justice advocate; motivational speaker; mentor to at-risk youth;” and a “freedom fighter.” According to the Post, Jimmie currently “works as a motivational speaker and emotional intelligence trainer for students and people who were formerly incarcerated.”

Students! When Jimmie said he was a “wrongful conviction” survivor, it was for sexual assault. Maybe it wasn’t wrongful after all. But that’s not even close to all.

In fact, as the headline stated, Jimmie is Stacey Abrams’s brother-in-law. But even that is not all. Jimmie is also married to Stacey’s sister, a federal judgenamed Leslie Abrams Gardner. President Obama appointed Judge Gardner to the Middle District of Georgia in 2014.

To give you an idea of Judge Gardner’s judicial style, in December, 2020, Judge Gardner enjoined (stopped) the Muscogee and Ben Hill Boards of Elections from challenging over 4,000 registered voters who had later filed Change of Address notices with the post office (indicating they had moved).  Gardner ignored half a dozen Georgia elections statutes in order to issue her ruling stopping the lawsuit to clean up the voter rolls.

Judge Gardner (then Abrams) and Jimmie Gardner married in 2018.

Florida is a bad venue for Jimmie to try his sex tourism, since he’s not likely to get much political benefit here. Hillsborough County is now headed by a State Attorney appointed by Governor DeSantis, after the Governor removed the district’s woke, Soros-funded State Attorney last year.

My guess is Jimmie’s case will be getting a lot of well-deserved attention. And the prosecution will be fair.

💉 It’s been a hard week for medical professionals. Case number one is Illinois’s Silver Cross Hospital President and CEO Ruth Colby, 69, who died “unexpectedly” this week “from complications following a surgical procedure.” All we know about the ‘surgical procedure’ is it happened weeks ago. Ruth did not die during the procedure or anything.

image 4.png

Ruth supervised over 4,500 hospital employees. Her co-workers seemed shocked by news of her death. “I’m devastated by Ruth’s passing,” grieved Silver Cross’s Chief of Staff, Joseph Hindo, M.D.

According to reports, Ruth was extremely active in healthcare philanthropy, serving on any number of medical boards and participating in high-profile charitable and industry groups. All of which would have been very jab-happy.

Silver Oaks appears to have had an early vaccine mandate. According to Silver Cross’s press release about her premature expiration date, “Ruth’s visionary leadership earned Silver Cross national recognition for safety.” Safety.

Not that safe for Ruth, though.

💉Last week I reported on the SADS death of A-list Hollywood producer Kevin Turin, 44, who was reported having died suddenly, but without any details. This week, TMZ did its job, and ran an update story including comments from Kevin’s relatives. So we now have more context about his untimely passing and it looks like we may have jumped to conclusions again, and probably should have wait… Oh, sorry. Yep, it completely fit the profile. Just wait.

image 10.png

According to Kevin’s father, Kevin was driving his 11-year-old son home from a tennis tournament last Sunday when he experienced a sudden euphemism, I mean he had a “medical emergency” while driving. Kevin’s young son, God bless him, somehow navigated the car to the side of the road with help from Tesla’s autopilot feature.

Kevin was rapidly rushed to the hospital but it was too late. His bell was already rung. Dead as a doornail. Close curtains.

TMZ’s sources said police ruled out drugs or alcohol, but the “official” cause of Kevin’s death remains undetermined.

💉 Brandi Mallory, 40, who starred in ABC’s “Extreme Weight Loss” back in 2014, died suddenly and unexpectedly last week in her home town of Atlanta. She died very suddenly. She was found in her parked car.

image 5.png

According to the police report, surveillance footage showed Mallory’s car pulling into a local strip mall parking lot in Atlanta near her home at 5:53pm on Thursday, November 9th. She entered a Chipotle restaurant, walked out with her fresh, healthy Mexican carryout dinner, got into her vehicle … and that’s it. The vehicle never moved. Brandi never left or came out after that. Cops got involved after a nearby store owner reported a female who appeared to be sleeping in their parked car that was still sitting there after the whole strip mall had closed for the night.

No cause of death has been released. But we know.

💉 New York Times and USA Today bestselling romance author Sandra Ladelle De Taranto, 66, died suddenly and unexpectedly September 12th AT HOME in Dayton, Nevada, after having a fatal encounter with a euphemism. Sorry! I mean, after “a short illness.” Very short. So short she never got to the hospital, apparently.

image 6.png

Sandra wrote and published over two dozen romance novels — an impressive achievement. But now the series is over.

No other information was provided about Sandra’s passing.

🔥 The New York Times posted a vexing Editorial Board op-ed yesterday headlined, “The Startling Evidence on Learning Loss Is In.” You don’t say.

The New York Times’s Editorial Board was startled — startled! — to discover that teachers’ union-fueled pandemic shutdowns have caused real, lasting injuries to kids. Here’s the op-ed’s opening paragraph:

The evidence is now in, and it is startling. The school closures that took 50 million children out of classrooms at the start of the pandemic may prove to be the most damaging disruption in the history of American education. It also set student progress in math and reading back by two decades and widened the achievement gap that separates poor and wealthy children. Economists are predicting that this generation, with such a significant educational gap, will experience diminished lifetime earnings and become a significant drag on the economy.

Gosh! Still, some of us were not startled about that. Some of us predicted this would happen. Some of us predicted this would happen three years ago.

So, why is the New York Times suddenly discovering the startling facts about union-powered student learning loss? Is it to hold people accountable? To get some justice for the students who were never at risk from covid in the first place? The students whose learning was set back years so that union teachers could enjoy a few months of paid pandemic vacation?

Nope.

What the New York Times’s Editorial Board was fretting about in particular is that federal covid education money runs out next year:

These learning losses will remain unaddressed when the federal money runs out in 2024. Elected officials at every level — federal, state and local — will need to devote substantial resources to replace the federal aid that is set to expire and must begin making up lost ground.

It’s about the money! So, get ready. It is obvious the Times plans to victimize our children again. The first time was to enrich corrupt teachers’ union officials and bloated school administrators. Now the liberals intend to use the kids’ injuries — injuries they caused — as an excuse, to further enrich corrupt teachers’ union officials and bloated school administrators.

The real answer to this situation is to demand accountability every single timethey bring up the problem of learning loss. The problem can’t be solved until the criminal, white-coated grifters who caused the problem have been prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Never forget.

🔥 Finally, in what may be the most surprising clip this Fall season, enjoy Michael Rappaport’s profanity-laced diatribe against liberal incompetence — “the chaos in this country, the chaos around the world” — and his grudging, obviously painful admission that he would even — wait for it — consider voting for Donald Trump. Yep. He said it.

image 16.png

CLIP: Michael Rappaport says the unsayable (1:22).

Michael sure has come a long way. The die-hard liberal’s red-pilling began during the pandemic, when the actor ranted about vaccine mandates after discovering the magic shots didn’t actually stop transmission after all. So much for being “part of the solution.”

Rappaport is another wonderful, if crude, example of how the covid overreach woke up a lot of folks.

Have a blessed Sunday! Thank you for supporting the mission. I’ll see you guys back here tomorrow morning for another educational and sarcastic news roundup.
